About Ciszewski MSL
Ciszewski Public Relations Agency is one of the oldest public relations companies in Poland – we were established in 1994 by Jerzy Ciszewski, who has continued over the years to be CPR’s President.
Our first big project consisted in provision of comprehensive public relations services for the Camel Trophy rally in Poland in the period of 1994 – 1996. Ever since we have continued working for numerous Polish and international companies for 17 years.
In 2004 and 2005 the CEO Jerzy Ciszewski had the honour of serving our country. Firstly he was the Chief Advisor in the Consultative and Analytical Team to Prime Minister Marek Belka. Next, in April 2005 he was nominated an Under-secretary of State at the Ministry of National Education and Sports and eventually became in November 2005 the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport.
The years 2006-2010 were a time of dynamic growth and increasing specialization in specific communication areas for Ciszewski Public Relations. The agency opened to new markets, developed its portfolio, increased its know-how and followed new trends in communication.
In 2007 we created a new subsidiary – Ciszewski Marketing Sportowy - dedicated exclusively to sports marketing.
In the same year the agency joined the Polish Public Relations Consultancies Association (Związek Firm Public Relations - ZFPR) and became a member of the Global Compact program, a United Nations’ strategic policy initiative.
In 2009 Ciszewski Financial Communications, the first ever consultancy in central-Eastern Europe specializing in communication activities dedicated to companies from the financial, real estate and professional services sector, emerged from Ciszewski PR’s financial communication department.
2010 was for the time of intense competence development in social media and ePR services as well as of business consolidation for CPR. Ciszewski Internet, an interactive agency specializing in planning and effective management of marketing communication on the Internet, was established, followed by the creation of Ciszewski Marketing Group which is responsible for managing all the existing consultancies under the Ciszewski brand.
We are proud to say that our work has received broad recognition – we have been awarded two times in a row (2010 & 2011) the title of the “Agency of year” in the prestigious IMPACTOR competition. We also won numerous prizes, such as Golden Clip (Złote Spinacze), Magellan Awards, Golden Drum, Impactor, Kreatura, for several campaigns carried out in 2010 - “24th-the Polish Hug Day” (24 Czerwca Polskim Dniem Przytulania), “Trust tap water” (Zaufaj wodzie z kranu) and „Hoop Caroling” (Hoop Colędawanie).
In 2011 the American Holmes Group hailed Ciszewski Public Relations in its very prestigious report on the public relations sector for the outstanding 30% growth in the times when most PR companies experienced no growth or even decline of their business.
We believe that community involvement is a vital element of our corporate responsibility. Therefore we also carry out our own projects and social campaigns. In 2006 we performed a nationwide campaign for the professional activation of disabled people “Send CV. Someone is waiting” (Wyślij CV. Ktoś czeka), and in 2008 we carried out in cooperation with the publishing house Świat Książki and Agora Foundation, a campaign aimed at encouraging readership in Poland, entitled “Time for reading. Book – an enriching experience”.
Our agency also supports important Polish historical events, for example, by providing organisational support to the Independence Run or the Warsaw Uprising Run, which is held every year in commemoration of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. We also support the European Centre of Solidarity (Europejskie Centrum Solidarności) whose activities are is aimed at promoting the heritage and message of the historical Solidarity social movement and inspire new civil initiatives.
Furthermore, since 2002 we has been organising the Ciszewski Cup – one of oldest squash tournaments in Poland.
